Feeling fat, sluggish and out of shape...


I'm 4'11" and currently weight 125lbs. That is the most I have ever weighed in my life except for when I was pregnant. I know with age (I'm 39) your metabolism slows and despite people telling me I look great I know I need to shed 15lbs, besides these friends have never seen me naked!

I work in entertainment but I do not abide by hollywood standards on how I should look, I know wearing spanks is not the answer to being able to comfortably button my jeans! I've tried working out, personal trainers, pilates, eating better and I always fall off, this I feel is my last chance to get it together before I turn 40! I'm lazy and I know it, after work all I want to do is go home pop open a bottle of wine and veg in front of the tv until I fall asleep, I have to do something and do it now!

I am the last skinny woman in my family, my grandmother, mother and aunties are all overweight and have been for all of my life, I am determined to break the cycle and I know I have a chance because at this point I am still thin, lol.

With all of that said, starting next week I am cutting out all sugar and processed food from my diet, I will however allow myself 1 half cup of coffee in the mornings for sanity sake~! I am also starting my "couch to 5k" running plan, which consists of walking/jogging/running 3 days a week. I will be posting my progress.
